What is Handfelt?
Handfelt is a handwritten direct-mail service that writes your message in handwriting based on a real hand — not a font — and mails it at scale. You upload a list and write one note, or let Handfelt generate a complete message for each recipient; it then personalizes, writes, prints, hand-addresses, and mails every piece and tracks delivery and response per campaign.

Where does Handfelt mail?
Handfelt prints and mails within the United States via USPS, at standard USPS postage rates billed separately from the per-piece price.
Pricing, postage, and plans
How does Handfelt's pricing work?
You pay per piece you mail, and choosing a plan lowers that per-piece rate and unlocks additional features. For example, Grow is $1.99 a piece plus $9.99/mo. Additional volume pricing is available, please contact us for more details.
Can I use Handfelt without a subscription?
Yes. The Starter option is pay-as-you-go at $2.49 a piece with no monthly fee and no commitment. You can move onto a plan any time to lower your per-piece price and unlock more features.
How do credits work?
You buy prepaid credits up front and spend them as you mail, and your plan sets the costs for each piece. Credits are purchased in $5 minimum increments, used based on your plan's per-piece rate, and never expire.
Is it a font?
Handfelt does not use fonts. It's based on real handwriting, and we can even use your own handwriting style — so your mail keeps the human touch that builds and deepens your relationships.
Do I have to use my own handwriting?
No. Choose one of our curated hands, or train your own from a single short writing sample. The Partner plan can hold several styles for different campaigns or team members.
Is the postage included in the price?
Postage is billed separately at standard USPS rates. Your per-piece price covers the paper, printing, and envelope, and postage is added at the real mail rate with no markup.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. Your per-piece price covers the handwriting, personalization, paper, printing, envelope, and hand-addressing; postage is billed separately at standard USPS rates. Sends are prepaid, and monthly plan fees are billed separately. The only thing that can add cost is custom materials on the Partner plan, and that pricing is always discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Do you offer special pricing for nonprofits?
Yes. Nonprofit organizations qualify for special pricing — contact us and we'll set up a plan that fits your budget and sending volume.
Is there a minimum order?
No, there is no minimum. Send a single piece or tens of thousands, and you only pay for what you actually mail.
What can I send?
Handwritten notecards, postcards, and full letters, mailed in hand-addressed custom envelopes. You can add a signature, logo, or QR code, merge in personalized details, and pick from a card design library.
Can I personalize each piece and connect my CRM?
Yes. Merge names, giving history, purchase details, or any campaign data into each piece. Connect your CRM, upload a CSV, or sync from your platform — Scale adds workflow integrations and Partner adds custom integrations.
Does Handfelt print and mail everything for me?
Yes, Handfelt handles the whole process end to end. You upload your list and write one message; we personalize, write, print, address, and mail every piece, then track delivery and response per campaign.
Is there an API or custom integration?
Yes, on the Partner plan. Partner includes access to a custom-built API, custom automations and triggers, and tailored onboarding so Handfelt fits the way your team already sends.

How do I get started?
Create an account, choose a curated handwriting style or train your own from a short sample, upload your list, and write your message. You can start pay-as-you-go with Starter and move onto a plan any time to lower your per-piece price.
How is my data handled?
Handfelt uses your data only to produce and mail your campaign — no lists, no spam, no selling it on. You can request deletion at any time; our Privacy Policy and Subprocessors page detail how information is stored and who processes it.
